While no words of mine can ease your loss, I just want you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Although I haven't seen Jack Sr. since he quit traveling, I have good memories of the times we shared together at sales meetings and shows. He knew how to enjoy life and he was a great shoe salesman and person.
You couldn't help but to like Jack Sr. as so many did, he had a wit and charm about him that you were drawn to. He let you know what was on his mine if you cross him,but he would also be willing to give you a helping hand if needed. He will be missed by all.
