I hate Don Turner. I'm glad he's dead. Since I left Texas life has been better. But I still run into people that make me feel the way they do. Australians/new zealanders got their feelings hurt by me because I don't like them because they're weird. Eh, maybe someone will like them but not me. There's a strong similarity between Don and them Australians/new zealanders. Must be a white person thing.
My husband started the Korean War Veterans Association in Tyler. Since his death, I have continued to attend the meetings and have interaction with the members. Don was faithful to the group, coming to meetings and other vet events from Longview even in bad weather. He was always a gentleman in his conduct. It was my pleasure to know him. Bettye Baty
