Dear Jason, Jeff, and Jonathan –
I was so sorry to hear your sad news Friday. I wanted to reach out and let you know I’m thinking of you all.
I remember Cousin David as a very generous and caring man. He picked me up from the airport for one of our family reunions (so very long ago) and had me laughing all the way to where we were meeting my parents and Uncle JC & Aunt Sarah. David also was kind enough to treat my sister JoAnne, my mom (Edna/Nita) and myself as well as Aunt Sarah and others to a wonderful Mexican meal at one of his favorite restaurants in Longview when we came out for Uncle JC’s funeral. And I can’t tell you how much it warmed my heart to hear stories of how David looked after Aunt Sarah. What a wonderful man.
Please know that my thoughts are with you at this difficult time. I hope and pray that your memories of your father will bring you comfort.

I will miss David in the Wisdom Seekers Class at Mobberly. He always sat next to Nancy, Diann, and I, and no one in class ever tried to sit in his chair. Miss you, friend! Praying for family and friends left behind, but I know you are happy in your new home.
