Carolyn was my Aunt for many years. Her obituary said it very well. She was a special person and a wonderful singer. I remember the 1st time I heard her sing in public was at the Senior Citizen Center on Green Street. I went on to hear her sing every chance I got. She was always cheerful with a smile on her face. I got the chance to be her nurse at GSMC awhile back. I had not seen her for many years, but as soon as I took one look, I knew that was the same Carolyn that I had known. She was still smiling and laughing even though all the things that she was unable to do and everything she was going through. I will always remember her wonderful voice and her lighted smile. She can sing to my mother, Dixie Annette Pettit in heaven now.##imported-begin##Jena Pettit Moon##imported-end##
