Vera M. Garlough
Dear Merry Ann and all the Tinsley Tribe:
How distressed we are to just learn that you...and friends galore...have lost Roscoe. He took with him a large heart and sincere compassion and unlimited love that he had for others --but more importantly, he was not shy in showing it. I have read others' tributes to this remarkable giant of a man, and all have been the recipient of his time, mechanical talent, and hearty personality. And yes, like others, I received call after call from Roscoe through the years after I lost my Tommy, "just checking up on you to see if you need anything." The group camping years of the '70's brought lots of fun, laughter and friendship (including the legendary engine repairs to RVs and boats) to the Tinsley and Garlough families and others who circled those Arkansas lakes. Now I shall get out my old photo albums this evening and relive those precious days.
Our hearts hurt for you and send you our love and sincere sympathy. May God hold each of you very close in his loving arms.
Vera Garlough and Mitchell Garlough,
Longview
