I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Owens passing. He always had a friendly smile and a wave when he was in the yard and I drove by. It is hard to know what to say at a time like this but please know all of you are in my thoughts and prayers. In time your hearts will heal. My condolences to the Owens family. I have many fond memories of the old Exxon station on Pine Tree Road and the many smiles your dad had for all of us pesky teenagers! May God comfort you.##imported-begin##Gail Watson Johnston##imported-end##
On behalf of all of the staff at Heartsway Hospice, I extend condolences to the family of Jack Owens. I did not know Jack, but attended his funeral on behalf of HeartsWay, and felt that Rev. Wintermute did a good job of presenting a well-lived life. May God give you strength for this difficult time, consoling you with good memories and the comfort of unshakable faith.##imported-begin##Chaplain Larry Tyler##imported-end##

Many wonderful memories of a great fellow, going back to the days of the Exxon station on Gilmer Road where Mr. Owens helped a damsel in distress with car troubles on several occasions. May God hold you and yours in the hollow of his hand in the days that follow. Much love to you from the Doerrs.##imported-begin##Jan Doerr##imported-end##
