We all at Downtown D'Lites Cafe knew and loved her...she always had a special smile, some fun remark or compliment, and always a good dose of laughter. She was always dressed so classy and colorful, and her presence in the restaurant was the same... cheerful and colorful, no matter whether the day was rainy or sunny outside.
Several of our staff members at D'Lites, including our own granddaughter, have had Mrs. Bolding for a piano teacher. My husband and I have been to several of her students' recitals...enough to see first hand that she must have been an excellent teacher to produce students who played so well.
Mrs. Bolding was verbal about what kept her going in life...the Sovereign Lord really was her strength. We sure will miss seeing her at D'Lites, and I know that she won a spot in many of our other customers' hearts as well. But we rejoice with her, and her family, that she is now with her Lord and Savior for all eternity!

Sylvia with the multi shades of red hair and beautiful clothing was definitely a force of nature. One of my favorite of many memories was the time she and Mickea practice on St. Luke’s organ. She cranked the sound up and off she went. It was wonderful. Not a shy bone in her body which transferred to my daughter and all the rest of her students. I’m so grateful for all the time Mickea had with her. She was a great role model. I’m sure she has already lined up a choir with Bob. Rest In Peace beautiful lady!
Such wonderful memories of an unforgettable and very precious lady. She has left behind so much talent and love that she has shared with so many. Heaven's choir is even more beautiful now. Love and prayers for all friends and family. ❣️🙏❣️

Sylvia will be so missed among members of the Kilgore Area Music Teachers' Association. She was the founder many years ago and was the source of inspiration to so many East Texas music students and music teachers. Our beautiful Sylvia will never be forgotten. She was loved by all who knew her.
