Buddy was one of my older cousins and, as such, I didn't get to know him personally very well. I remember him as a mild-mannered, sweet man who came to family gatherings whenever he could. He was a much loved member of the family, and my mother, Lucille Dennis, has always talked lovingly about him. I know he has been ill for quite some time, and now can be at peace.
