Jamie, we are so sad to hear of Ray’s death. He was such a fine, Christian teacher. I can never remember seeing Ray without a big smile on his face. Knowing Ray was a great blessing. I remember back in the 60s that Ray was the most tenacious competitor on the Forest Park football field and in the gym. More importantly, he was always honest and always fair to everyone around him with a contagious smile and positive attitude. Condolences to Jamie and family. May he rest in the arms of Jesus.

My fondest memories of Coach Ray were behind the wheel learning how to drive. What a brave man to teach teenagers this skill! He was the epitome of patience and faith. I cherish the years that him and Jamie have been close friends with my parents as I know it has brought them years of great memories. Ray, you will be missed dearly! Jamie, you and your family will be in my prayers as you continue on without this "Ray" of sunshine in your lives!
Ray Wright=miles of smiles! He lived life to the fullest, no matter what he was doing. His service to others only made him enjoy life more.
