OD Hughes, 78, of Longview, died peacefully at his home surrounded by His loving family on Saturday, June 27, after a courageous battle with Cancer. He was born October 12, 1930 in the Short Community of Shelby County to Druie and Read Obituary
I met O.D. several years ago on one of the Cal-Tex rides. He struck me as a very unusual and compassionate man. He always had a kind word for everyone in our group. O.D was very generous. The ladies will always remember the raffle tickets he bought for them. He will always be remembered with fond memories.
