Funeral services for Zona Gail Williams, 66, of Henderson, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday , October 6, 2007, at the Rader Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Bruce Bailey officiating. Interment will be in Rusk County Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Williams died Wednesday afternoon, October 3, 2007, at Hospice Homeplace of East Texas in Tyler. She was born November 7, 1940, in Gilmer, Texas to Floyd Ulysses Hooker Simpson and Sarah Jane Garrett Simpson. She was a graduate of Gilmer High School and attended Waco School of Business. Mrs. Williams lived and worked in Henderson for many years at Oberthier Glass Co. and the Country Health Store as a bookepper and she was also a homemaker. She was a member of Longview Drive Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Williams, parents , Floyd and Jane Simpson, brother Richard Simpson and sister Cheryl Murray . Survivors include, daughter Lauri Ann Shipp and husband Chuck of Bedford, Tx. Son, Stefan Smith and wife Teri of Henderson. 4 Grandsons, Connor Loring Shipp, Colton Lee Shipp and Cullen Lane Shipp all of Bedford, Tx. and Jacob Stefan Smith of Henderson. 4 Stepdaughters and families, Carolyn Garcia of Bedford, Sherry Van Hemert of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Paulette Stafford of Benbrook, Texas and Marvita Moser of White Settlement Texas. Sister-in-law Sherian Simpson of Gilmer, Texas. Nieces, Dr. Amy Simpson of Tyler and Alyssa Ford of Longview and nephew Jason Simpson of Ft. Worth, Texas ; Brother-in-law Mark Murray of Springtown, Tx. , nephew Michael Murray and niece Hannah Murray of Springtown, Tx. Pallbearers are Joe Addison, James Norris, Doug Patterson, Kenneth Sledge, Lynn Wallace and Donny Griffith. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 Pm at the funeral home.
