    Wayne Jimmerson

    April 23, 1938 - January 30, 2022

    Wayne Jimmerson passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022 in Henderson. He was born to George and Era Jimmerson in the Chapman Community, Rusk County on April 23, 1938. He attended Chapman School from the first grade to the eighth. Mr. Jimmerson graduated Henderson High School in 1956 and Kilgore College in 1958. He served in the Army. He was plant mechanic for Texas Utilities at the Martin Lake Plant until retirement 1992. He was a Mason for over 59 years, loved horses, farming and his family. His loving family and friends knew him dearly as Bear, Pops, and Pawpaw. He is survived by his wife Ivanell Jimmerson; daughters and sons-in-law Kristie and Tad Tidwell, Kathy and Ricky Norman, Lesia and Jimmy Pyers, Joanna and Robert Guzman; sister Dorothy Glasscock; brother-in-law Douglas Blevens; grandchildren Trevor Tidwell, Corey Tidwell, JoNell Ross, Ricky and Mica Norman, Leslie and Jonathan Blankenship, Jessica and John Hudman, Kevin and Sanada McCarroll, Kourthee Hayes, Haylee and Daniel Kasallis and Beth Jackson; eleven great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Jimmerson is preceded in death by his brother Albert Jimmerson and sister Hazel Blevens. A special thanks to the Assistcare nurses, aides, therapist and special thanks to Tad Titlow and Staff!
