Belated condolences to the Whitaker family. I just noticed Terry’s name listed in the Sam Houston Heritage magazine that arrived this week. Terry was my freshman RA in Roy Adams Hall. Our particular group was probably one of his most challenging. Only four of the original students from our section actually went on to receive our diplomas. I remember Terry as always keeping fairly calm with our shenanigans and always keeping a good Christian attitude. Having him as our mentor was a blessing. I know his years of teaching were a blessing to his many students.

We are so sorry to hear about Terry passing. He was a great friend and he will be missed so much. We really enjoyed meeting both of you at Red Bay Alabama in November of 2014.
He would always called to see how we were doing when bad weather was coming this way.
Our prayer is that GOD will Bless and Comfort you and your family at this time.
His job complete, Terry is able to go where we belong! He & Phyllis were such good friends with my family when we lived there & attended the same church! He was my 9th grade science teach & my 1st customer as a summer house painter throughout high school. Thanks for the memories Sir!
