Graveside services for Teresa Marlene Myers, 89, of Henderson, Texas, will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Memory Park in Longview. Mrs. Myers passed away peacefully on Monday morning in a Longview nursing home. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. An online memorial book may be signed at www.raderfh.com Teresa was born in Reatta, Texas on a Dairy Farm to Vera Mae Allison Wylie and Walter Wylie on March 19, 1932. She was married to the love of her life, Dean Myers, on April 16, 1949. Teresa graduated Valedictorian and worked as a dictaphone typist before marriage. She won a typing medal for her proficiency. After marrying Dean, Teresa became a loving homemaker to their 5 beautiful children. Dean and Teresa were happily married for 68 years. They were active in a bowling league at Oil Bowl Lanes for many years. They were active cattle ranchers and gardeners during retirement years. They were foster parents for 25 years and fostered many children during that time. Healing these sweet children through love was greatly important to their life’s mission. She has been a lifelong member of Church of Christ, for many years attended Main Street Church of Christ in Henderson, Texas. She was passionate about God, collecting her special jewelry, treasures, and spending time pouring love into the people she cared about. She was a loving woman that will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by Dean Myers and 4 of her 5 siblings, Robert, Helen, Shirley, Annette. She’s excited to be reunited with them all in Heaven. Those left to cherish her memory are her; brother Dean Wylie and his wife Nita; children; Ronny and Liz Myers, Gilmer; Diana and Ben Liles, Houston; Larry and Debra Myers, Hallsville; Penny Arnold and Neal Tapps, Tyler; Troy and Maurita Myers, Longview:11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
