    Steven Dwain Meadows

    August 30, 1962 - November 19, 2021

Steven Dwain Meadows (59) of Longview, unexpectedly passed away at Christus Good Shepherd Hospital in Longview on November 19th, 2021 with his children by his side. He was born in Longview Texas August 30th, 1962 to James and Volette (Williams) Meadows. Steven went on to get his EMT license and held various jobs throughout his life. He was a jack of all trades and very good at everything he did. If you knew him you also knew he loved his Grand-dogs Chloe and Charli with all his heart and he also loved his Texas Aggies he always had on an Aggie jersey or hat no matter the occasion. Steven was preceded in death by his parents James and Volette Meadows. Those left to cherish his memories and mourn his loss are, his greatest accomplishments his children, daughter Megan and Husband Clayton Crouch and son Tyler Meadows and Abby Freeman who he thought of as a daughter. His siblings, sisters are Sheila Husband Jimmy Ridgeway, Shera husband Robert Baker, Charlotte Mudd and brothers Stacy Wife Kathy Meadows, Keith Meadows, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Cremation services will be handled by Rader funeral home of Longview and funeral services will be held at The Remnant Church in Longview on Saturday, December 11th at 4:00 pm. Address 4344 US-259, Longview, Texas 75605. In lieu of sending flowers, the children have asked for donations to be made in their dad's name to help them with the bills and unexpected costs that have and will arise. Venmo and Cash App @megandianna are preferred so the money can be moved to an account to pay for bills. Hearing all the memories and seeing all the pictures of our wonderful daddy from over the years has helped my siblings and me with the tremendous amount of grief we are dealing with. We never expected to lose our daddy this soon but knowing he is with our grandparents and rejoicing with Jesus helps ease the pain. We are truly thankful for everything each one of you reading this did to bless and add to our dads’ life. He will always be missed and remembered.
