    May 16, 1976 - September 29, 2009

    SHERREE LYNN HANCOCK Services for Sherree Lynn Hancock, 33, of Gilmer will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 1, 2009 at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Longview with Longview Police Chaplain Jay McCasland officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park. Pallbearers are Longview Police Officers Weldon Ashworth, Mark Wilson, Sid Derrick, Sgt. Chad LeMair, Lt. Mike Bishop and Lt. Anthony Boone. Sherree passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 27, 2009 with her loving husband and daughter at her side. Sherree was born on May 16, 1976 in Harrison, Arkansas to Harold and Sue Miller. She graduated from Harrison High School and attended North Arkansas Community College. After moving to Longview, she finally met the love of her life and married Longview Police Sgt. Jerry W. Hancock Jr. On December 6, 1999. Together they are the loving parents of daughter Keely Shea. Sherree was a Certified Correction Officer with TCLEOSE before earning a Paralegal certificate from LeTourneau University, and later earning her Phlebotamist license from Kilgore College, and her CMA and NCT License in Texas and Arkansas. She was currently employed as Administrative Intake Coordinator with the MTC Treatment Center in Henderson. Sherree's favorite times were spent camping and just spending time at home with her husband, daughter and dogs. She had many loyal friends and co-workers who will miss her dearly. Sherree leaves behind a loving daughter Keely, an adoring husband Jerry Jr., and loving in-laws Jerry & Kathy Hancock all of Gilmer. Also surviving Sherree are her grieving parents Harold and Sue Miller, loving grandparents Robert and AliceVillines and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home in Longview on Wednesday, September 30th from 6 :00- 8:00 PM.
