    Sandra Kaye Pulling

    September 6, 1942 - December 21, 2021

Sandra Kaye Pulling passed peacefully the evening of December 21st, 2021 at Good Shepard Hospital in Longview, Texas. Proud to be a Texas she was born to Jack and Virginia Leaverton on September 6th, 1942. She was raised by her mother and William Little her step-father . After graduating Pine Tree High School she enlisted in the U.S. Navy where she met her ex-husband Richard Pulling. Together they had 2 children Leah Parsley and Regina Walker. She dearly loved her family and friends. As well as being survived by her 2 children she is survived by her grandchildren: Keegan Walker and Race Walker, her brother and sister: Harold Adair Little and Virginia (Jinxy) Lorraine Dickson and nieces and nephews that she loved as her own: Susan & Jason Little, Shanna Tsounis, Charlie and Collin Dickson. Sandra’s lifelong love of literature, art, theatre, music and travel inspired her to live life on her terms. She was an independent woman who worked hard and was full of enthusiasm and adventure. Bungie jumping off the Corpus Christi Bridge in celebration of her 50th birthday is just one example how she embraced life. She also embraced every opportunity to travel and meet new people. Her travels gave her great joy. An artist at heart she spent many hours writing and creating art. Sandra prided herself on thinking for herself and being well versed on many topics it was always a dream of hers to go on Jeopardy. Sadly she will never get that chance; she would have done very well. Even at 79 years old she never gave up her enthusiasm for the future. She was full of life to her last breath and will be greatly missed by many. Due to everyone living so far apart, the holidays and Covid there will not be a traditional service at the funeral home. Sandra’s wish was to be cremated. Those wishing to pay their last respects and celebrate her life can do so at her home at 104 Reel Rd in Longview, Texas. You can contact her daughter Leah Parsley at 318-446-6192 for any information. For those unable to visit please visit her web page memorial set up by Rader Funeral Home. The family would love to read any memories or tributes and see any pictures you may have. A memorial guestbook may be signed online at www.raderfh.com.
