Nadine C. Reid 86, of Longview passed away November 7, 2013 at Good Shepherd Medical Center. She was born November 8, 1926 in Ore City, Texas to John David and Frances Copeland. The family later moved to Harleton where she attended local schools growing up and graduated from Harleton High School as Salutatorian of her graduating class. After high school Nadine and her youngest sister Opal graduated from Cosmetology School. Nadine enjoyed quilting for her grandchildren, and spending time with her family. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Morton Baptist Church in Diana for many years. Those left to cherish her memory are her son David Dorgan, two daughters Ann Dickerson, and Frankie Pollick. Grandchildren Tracie Hutchison, Candy Lee, Mary Hale, Roscoe and Chad Dickerson, Nancy Wiggins, Sheila Schuiteman, and Sheilli Costellio. Great grandchildren Dylan and Morgan Palmer, Carsen Lee, Heather and Marshal Wiggins, Kennedy, Taylor, and Blake Dickerson, Caleb Langley and Ashlin Hilton. She is also survived by her brother Neal Copeland and sister Opal Fagg and their families. She is preceded in passing by two husbands, Olan Dorgan and James Reid, her parents, her great grandson Colton Langley, four brother and two sisters. Funeral services will be Saturday November 9, 2013 at 1 pm at Rader Funeral Home in Longview. Interment will follow services at Rosewood Park. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Regina Smith and Mae Hudnall, special friends.
