Mike Young

January 20, 1946 - December 28, 2021

Michael Dean Young Born: Jan. 20, 1946 Passage: Dec. 28, 2021 at 11:23 a.m. On this day, passed the love of my life and wonderful father to Tina and Lane Akin, Vicki and Gary Giles, Ricky Young, James and Charly Wardlaw, Dwayne and Robyn Wardlaw. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mike was the brother to Elizabeth Rices, Mildred McClain, and Jamey and Diane Young. He departed this world to a much better life in heaven, to be met by his mother, father and siblings. Mike asked God to take him to Heaven because he was tired and in pain. God granted his wish and now he is resting peacefully. Mike loved his home, hunting, fishing and was a wonderful cook. He was the best man I ever knew in my life. Mike worked hard for everything and believed that nothing is given to you, you must always earn it. He taught me so much in our 34 wonderful years together. I will always miss you, my love.
