    Maudean Burgess White

    November 4, 1932 - June 23, 2016

    Maudean Burgess White Maudean Burgess White, 83, of Longview passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016 in Tyler. She was born November 4, 1932, in Lake Village, LA to Wilford and Lettie Callaway Burgess. Mrs. White grew up in Eudora, AR and graduated from Eudora High School in 1950, and was a 1952 graduate of Longview School of Business. She met her husband, James Clifford “Cliff” White, Jr. at First Baptist Church, Longview while he was attending LeTourneau College, and they were married January 29, 1955. Maudean was a stay at home Mom and housewife and was an active member of the First Baptist Church, Longview for over 35 years. She was a member of the choir, a Sunday School teacher and Outreach. She was there any time the doors were opened. She was a volunteer at Longview Regional Medical Center. Her many hobbies included, sewing, painting, gardening and loving on her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; siblings, L. Lelvyn Burgess, Edgle Burgess, Reginald “Tim” Burgess, Alease Burgess Irvin, Lesley “Butch” Burgess, Alvin Burgess and Alton Burgess; sibling’s spouse, Thomas Clark; and sister-in-law, Delcye White. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Timothy “Tim” White and wife Sherri, and their children, Michael, Stacy, Heather and Christopher; son, David J. White and wife Beckie, and their daughter, Stephanie; daughter, Jayne White Garcia and husband, Mateo, and their children, Adam and Amanda; siblings and their spouses, Ollie Belle Burgess Clark, Bee and Lou Ann Burgess Trim, Marion Burgess, Jeannine Burgess, Jack Irvin and Kathleen Burgess; and many nieces, nephews and their children. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2016, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Maudean’s current residence in Heaven, at the feet of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ…
