Maria Valdez Duran

Maria Valdez Duran went to be with her Heavenly Father Friday, October 22, 2021 and is at peace. Mary as known to most was born January 13, 1959, in Tarimoro Guanajuato Mexico to Carmen Tirado and Esteban Duran. She married Francisco Valdez on August 15, 1975, with whom she procreated six children. She loved to spend time with all her children and grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her Mother, Carmen Tirado and her Father, Esteban Duran of Monte Alto, Texas as well as her oldest brother Pablo Duran of Celaya Guanajuato Mexico. She is survived by her daughters Julia Valdez-Neave, Araceli Valdez both of Longview Texas, Lucina McElduff of Fort Worth, Texas, Rocio Valdez Chavez of Tatum Texas, Crystal Valdez of Houston, Texas and her only son Frank Valdez Jr. of Longview Texas, her eighteen grandchildren and her 5 great-grandchildren; her sister and best friend Margarita Ruiz of Houston Texas; Lupita Villalpando of Edingburg Texas; Yolanda Brisendo of Edcouch Texas; Rosalba Duran of Pharr Texas; Teresa Duran of Monterrey Mexico; Martin Duran and Ferando Duran of San Antonio Texas, Esteban Duran of Houston Texas, Lupita Sanchez of Mercedes Texas, Ignacion Duran of San Antonio Texas, Estela Monsivais of Pharr Texas, Pedro Castillo of Houston Texas and numerous nieces and nephews who she all loved dearly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Matthews Catholic Church, 2800 Pine Tree Rd, Longview Texas on Friday, October 29, 2021, at 10:00 AM. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:00 - 8:00 at the Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mary is greatly loved and missed by all her friends and family.
