    Kurt Nash

    March 27, 1981 - January 17, 2022

Kurt Alan Nash was born in Longview, TX on March 27, 1981. He attended school in Sabine. After graduating high school, Kurt went on to become a skilled mechanic and has since spent his days working hard in the field. He has spent the last 10+ years at Transmissions Unlimited where he devoted many hours to a job he loved. Kurt has always been known for his witty banter and his sarcasm. Conversation has always come easy to him and jokes even easier. In his free time, he loved to ride in his side by side with his family. These rides were full of adventure and memories and often led to more mechanic work needing to be done on the side by side and he didn’t mind it. Time for Kurt was best spent working with his hands. He loved a good song and was a talented guitar player as well. He was called home on January 17, 2022. Kurt leaves behind a devoted wife, Cary Nash and four children; Kyla Nash, Caden Nash, Hayden Vallery and Brooklyn Nash, mother Freida Nash, Father Kyle Nash and stepmother Sheri Nash, as well as his brother Chris Shull, grandmother Martha Nash and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A visitation for Kurt will be held on Monday, January 24 between 5 and 7 pm in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
