    September 9, 1947 - March 4, 2008

    Funeral services for Jammie Turlington, 60, of Chalk Hill, will be 2 PM Friday at the Chalk Hill Assembly of God Church with Pastors Jim Ames, Laverne Freeman and Glen Ketchum officiating. Interment will follow in Chalk Hill Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home, Longview. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Jammie went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 4. She was born September 9, 1947 in Tyler, Texas to B. J. and Mildred McNew. Jammie was a Certified Nursing Assistant and had operated Heart to Heart Care Giver Service. She was a member of Chalk Hill Assembly of God Church. She is survived by her husband: Billy, daughter: Ronda McIntire of Chalk Hill, son: Billy Mac Turlington of Tatum, grandchildren: Sarah McIntire of Chalk Hill, Anna Marie Turlington of Tatum, Jessica Freshour and Eric Freshour, both of Tennessee Colony, great grandchild: Hailey McIntire of Lakeport, mother: Mildred McNew of Longview, brother: Jeb McNew of Longview, and sisters: Dixie Robertson and Kerry Warrick both of Longview. Jammie was preceded in death by her father, B. J. McNew. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231 or the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
