    Jackie Wayne Robinson

    June 9, 1951 - January 30, 2022

    Jackie Wayne Robinson, 70, of Longview, passed away on January 30, 2022 in Longview, TX. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 5-7pm at Rader Funeral Home in Longview, TX. Private burial on February 3, 2022 at LaGrones Chapel Church Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rader Funeral Home. Jackie was born in Carthage, TX on June 9, 1951 to Mamie and Jewel Robinson. He graduated school in Carthage, TX. On February 12, 1981 he married the love of his life Kathy Ball Robinson. They would have celebrated 41 years of marriage this month. Jackie worked in the grocery retail business in management his entire life until he retired in 2015. Although he was not able to in many years, he loved fishing and working in his shop, collecting antique model cars, working crossword puzzles, and word searches, he also loved watching all western movies, and could make the best impressions of The Three Stooges. He loved sitting on the front porch watching nature with his wife and children. He loved playing with his grandchildren and great grand-children, and he loved watching all of them play in their sporting events. He was so very proud of each of them. He was the best daddy and Papa who will be missed so much. He loved his wife who was not only his best friend but his entire life. They completed each other. Jackie is preceded in death by his parents, and two great-grandsons Ryan and Beckham Kuler and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Kathy Robinson. Children: Stephanie Kuler (Brian Brown) of Henderson, Rick Southerland (Deanna) of Hallsville, and Melissa Marshall (Chad) of Hallsville; Brothers Gay (Linda) Robinson of Henderson and Claude (Pam) Robinson also of Henderson; Father and Mother in- law Billy Carl and Darlene Ball of Hallsville; Grandchildren: Brittany Dooley (Patrick) , Christopher Kuler (Kylie) , Zachary Kuler, Trevor Stapp, Colynn Stapp, Tyler Presley, Karley Presley, Madelyn Presley, Keagan Southerland, Toby Southerland, and Eli Southerland; Great-Grand children: Carson, Cooper, Addie, Camryn, Wade and several nieces and nephews, and his sweet fur babies that he loved so much, Cocoa, Charlie and Simon. Pallbearers will be his grandsons Christopher and Zachary Kuler and Trevor and Colynn Stapp. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to CDH International (www.cdhi.org) research for babies with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernias or to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital(stjude.org) The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Shen and Associates, Dr. Koya and Dr. Taylor and Texas Oncology, and the ER and ICU staff at CGSMC, Rader Funeral Home, and pastor Ken Davis with Fellowship Baptist Church in Liberty City.
