    Henry David Young

    February 19, 2015 - November 25, 2018

On Saturday evening, November 24th, our precious and beautiful baby boy, Henry David Young, left the loving arms of his family to be embraced by the loving arms of his Father. He loved his mommy, daddy and his big brother Charlie most of all. Henry, three years old, came into our world in a snowy February and brought with him all of the warmth, light, and joy we could ever want. Henry was curious, funny, fearless, tough, sweet, and loved to cuddle with his mommy and wrestle with his dad and brother. He was always searching for treats and always exploring. He adored his big brother Charlie and loved to copy his every step. He was young, innocent, playful, and loved to laugh and to make others laugh. His brother Charlie could make him laugh harder and longer than anyone else, and vice versa. Henry was loving, shy, silly, and loved to dance. He loved to ride his green scooter, play jokes on his parents and brother, and he asked Santa for a sword and a puppy for Christmas. Henry is survived by his mother and father Heidi and Mitchell, and older brother Charlie; his grandparents Joncie and Betsy Young and Sammy and Tammy Dishman; great-grandmother Dot Dishman; aunts and uncles Jason and Katy Young, Lauren and Michael Thompson, Josh and Holly Smallwood, Trip Dishman, and Taylor Dishman; his cousins Matthew, Elisabeth, Audrey, Addie, Anna, Maddi, Macy, Josh, Jack, and Millie and a loving extended family. He loved many special neighborhood and school friends. We are grateful for the amazing care provided by the staff at Longview Regional, the first responders, and the extraordinary efforts of our neighbor Greg Williams. Visitation is at 1pm with Services at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 29th at First Presbyterian Church at 301 N. Center St., Longview, Texas 75601.
