    Glenda Jeanette Hosch Brackeen

    February 13, 1956 - June 6, 2018

    Glenda Jeanette Hosch Brackeen, age 62, of Longview, Texas, passed from this earth on June 6, 2018 at 4:16 p.m. and stepped on the other side of glory after taking her last breath. Glenda was a wonderful, Holy Ghost filled woman who loved to tell everyone she met about the love of God and the plan of salvation. She was an active member of Calvary Tabernacle in Longview, TX where she has attended for the last 28 years and recently began serving as a greeter. She has been a friend, confidant, Mother and Nana to many family members as well as adopting people as family. She was the administrator of The Bishops Breakfast Club, an online group under the direction of Brother McCool. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, June 9, at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Tabernacle under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Glenda was born to parent’s Betty Jo and Floyd Glenn Hosch on February 13, 1956 in Odessa, Texas. At the age of 15 years old, Glenda met the love of her life, Joe Walter Brackeen, where their love blossomed and they wed on May 31, 1974 and the rest is history! Glenda is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Joe Walter Brackeen. Glenda is also survived by son, Jason Brackeen and his wife Kelly of Longview, daughter Christy Jo and husband Steve Holcombe of Webster, TX. She is also survived by sisters, Peggy Rinehart of White Oak, Betty Phillips of Gladewater, Cheryl Johnson of Longview, Tanya Bush of Longview, sister-in-law Eva Davis of Longview and brother and sister-in-law George and Patti Brackeen of Gladewater. She had a total of 11 grandchildren and they are listed as follows: Landon Hobbs-age 19, Derrick Willis-age 18, Hannah Willis-age 16, Reghan Holcombe-age 21, Lilly Brackeen-age 13, Lauren Brackeen-age 12, Isaac Brackeen-age 8, Joseph Brackeen-age 6, Elijah Brackeen-age 5, Brandon Sutton-age 16 and Jewel Lau-age 17. She had 12 nieces and nephews as well that she adored. Glenda is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jo and father, Floyd Glenn Hosch. She was the BEST wife, Nana and mother that anyone could ever ask for! We love you worldful!
