Funeral services for Frances Uhlir will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church of Longview at 11:00 AM. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Uhlir passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022 in Longview TX. Frances was born on February 20, 1945 in Chicago IL to parents Michael and Fannie Trella. She met her husband in Chicago, took him home and introduced him as “her future husband”; they were married the following year. Fran was a beloved spouse, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to all everybody she met. Frances is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Angelo “Sonny” Trella and sister Patricia Shannon. Those left to cherish their memories of Fran include her husband of 54 years, Joe Uhlir; daughter Michelle Uhlir and her husband Walter; son Michael Uhlir and his best friend Michelle; grand-daughters Lily and Tesla and great-grandson Neiko. Frances will also be remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association in Frances’ name.
