Amy Leigh (Jackson) Jensen passed from this life in the loving arms of her family in the early hours of Sunday, July 25, 2021. Amy was born November 20,1974 in Longview, Texas, where she graduated from Longview High School and attended Kilgore College. She worked as a certified paralegal for law firms in Longview, Marshall, and Austin, Texas. Amy is survived by her beloved and precious son Aiden James Morris of Troup; parents Jimmy and Debbie Jackson of Longview; brother James Matthew Jackson, sister-in-law Emily and nephews James Pendleton and Sawyer Townes Jackson of Washington, D.C.; paternal uncles Mike Jackson and wife Judy of Pittsburg, and Stan Williams of Longview; maternal aunt June Halbrook of Denton; cousins Christina Halbrook, Denton, and Tisha Morillo and Mandy Jackson Sneed of Arlington, and Amber (Williams) Wilkinson Tyler, Texas and Eric Williams Longview, TX and a host of loving prayer warriors and friends. She was preceded in death by grandparents Helen and James (Cherry) Jackson of Pittsburg and Nell and Alton Halbrook of Dallas, uncle Bill Halbrook of Denton, and aunt Francis Williams of Longview. Also preceding Amy in death was her beloved miniature pinscher “Tanner”. Services will be held Wednesday, July 28 in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Services will be live streamed. Special thanks go the staff of Heart to Heart Hospice Longview for helping make Amy’s transition loving and peaceful. We don’t know what we would have done without Lauren, Azaria, Diana, Shannon, Misty, and the wonderful chaplain that were there to guide us. If desired, memorials may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice. The family respectfully requests that masks be worn.
