    Allen Ray Domingues Jr.

    October 26, 1956 - August 3, 2021

    Allen Ray Domingues, Jr, 64, of Kilgore, Texas passed away on August 3, 2021. Ray Jr, as he was affectionally known for most of his life, was born October 26, 1956, in Lafayette, Louisiana. He was a graduate of Vermilion Catholic High School in Abbeville, Louisiana and the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette, Louisiana, where he obtained a Bachelor of Business degree. He went on to work for, and manage, the company automobile business, Ray Chevrolet, over the next 30 years before retiring. Allen is survived by his fiancé, Di Horjes; children, Lauren Domingues Weber (Blake) of Longview, Texas, Lane Domingues (Van) of Longview, Texas, Allen Ray Domingues III of Kilgore, Texas; mother Janelle Plattsmier Domingues; siblings, Jan Domingues Guilbeau (Buddy), Don Domingues, Stephen Domingues (Pam), Joy Domingues Barter (Lynn), Jill Domingues Sargent (Bill); and 8 nieces and nephews. His grandchildren were the light of his life. He moved to East Texas in November to be able to watch Noah, Penelope, and Remi grow up and attended every dance recital, track meet, soccer and football game in support of them. He never missed an event and was their biggest fan. Allen (Ray Jr.) was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and his father, Allen Ray Domingues, Sr. Visitation will be held at Rader Funeral Home in Longview from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Graveside services will be held at Rosewood Park on Monday, August 9, 2021 at 10 a.m.
