Flo and Russell rescued Bill and me one night after we had eaten at Luby's (old location). At that time, Bill had a vehicle, and the keys matched the keys to our house> (Imagine that!) When we got in to drive home, the car would not start; so Flo and Russell drove us home to get the proper key and back to the stranded vehicle. Wonderful, generous, and kind people. Also, Flo sang in the choir in our church for many years, She was always joyful, and we all loved her. Nell Collins

I was truly blessed to know this fine lady who was so very special to me as we worked together for years in the Longview School District. Her warm compassionate smile and disposition was always on target and served as a comfort to so many. She always seemed to know exactly what to say or do to lift the spirit of others. Her genuine love of Honey and her sons was, without a doubt, the centerpiece of her whole world. How blessed you are to have been such an integral part of her life. Russell, may you and the family find comfort from Flo through these words in I Thessalonians 5:11, "Therefore encourage one another and build up each other, as indeed you are doing". A willing heart and willing hands a generous spirit to always encourage, a task completer,a precious friend. Singing with the saints she has left so many behind who loved, respected, and needed her. Flo gave continually to serve the LORD and showed and taught how to be a servant . Her precious Russell and love of her life and sweet family have had to let her go on but the gift of her love and a life fully lived will have to sustain us all til we get to Glory with her.
