Ella Rita Ree Hall

Ella Ree "Rita" Hall, 70, of Longview, went to her heavenly home on Friday, August 2, 2013 after her 4 ½ year battle with cancer. She was born on February 1, 1943 in Durant, Ok. Rita, also known as "Nana" to many, was a loved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Rita was an active member of the Pine Tree Church of Christ. She was strong in her faith to Jesus Christ and always had a positive outlook toward her illness. Rita was such an encourager to many as she loved others unconditionally. Rita loved her family and spending family time together, whether with her immediate family or a family member of her church. She always enjoyed a good gathering of fellowship and play games. Some of the things that she enjoyed most were sewing, going to activities that her grandchildren participated, or traveling. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, George, of Longview; daughter, Donna Stagner, and husband, Scott, of White Oak; son, Robert Hall, of Diana; grandson, Skylar Stagner and wife, Mellissa, of Longview, grandson, Spenser Stagner and wife, Megan, of Longview; grandson, Trevor Stagner and wife, Alli, of Mt. Pleasant; grandson, Tyson Hall of Diana, granddaughter, Tara Hall, of Diana, great grandchildren, Sadie, Leighton, Jaxon, and Elli Stagner; and sisters Lois Hall, Betty Ramey, and Patsy Sweetin, and brothers, Doy Adams, Robert Adams, and Ray Adams, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Marie Adams; brothers, Don and Paul, and sister, Dorothy Hall. The family would like to thank "HeartsWay" Hospice for their loving care for Nana during her illness, especially to Alecia for your devotion, kindness, and sincerity to Nana and our family. The family would also like to thank Debbie Windsor, a family friend, for help in caring for Nana. In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to the Medina Children's Home at the Pine Tree Church of Christ or take a moment to value friendships, say a prayer, hug your children, play a game with friends, or take a trip with others that you love. Services for Ella Ree "Rita" Hall will be 2 pm Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Pine Tree Church of Christ, in Longview with Ritchey Hamm and Arless Vandiver officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery in Longview. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Monday, August 5, 2013 at Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
