Thomas William Landers, Jr. Tom was born December 5, 1921, in Longview, Texas and passed away here on February 28, 2013. He lived here all his life except for time in college and service in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. Read Obituary
Mrs. Landers and family, I was visiting J F Burnett today in Austin a former Longview AAA Sales Manager. He subscribes to the Longview paper and showed me Tom's obituary. I look at Longview's Newspaper about once a week now that I live in Tyler. I am so upset I didnt know this because we would have been there from Hibbs Hallmark. We love him and you so much. Us girls looked forward to our daily joke from him each day. God bless all of you and know I am blessed to have known and worked with him many years ago. I am so sorry that we didnt know about it. Tom has a wonderful family and was a leader of his community. We are sorry he is gone, and know he will be particularly missed by Dorothy, his sons and their families.

I can cherish from among some of my first memories the good times our families spent together. My dad often talked about their times together and keeping in touch until near the time of my dad's passing in January.
