Sad to hear that our Fiji brother passed away. Syl was such a good person and always fun to be around during his college days at Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. I am so sorry and touched by the lose of Syl. As a co-worker, I've only known Syl for a short 5 years, but he became a good friend. He was a good man and a pleasure to work with. We took breaks and had lunch together every day and shared many stories. I was so very fortunate to have met Syl along with having spent so much time with him. I truly be miss him.

My prayers are for him and his loving family left behind.

“Little syl” was my mother’s God child. I have a picture of him in a snow suit that had been mine when he was a baby. We had many adventures together as we grew up. He will always have a special place in my heart. His grandmother, Mrs. Patti Hankins, was an adopted grandmother of mine. Oh how she loved her “grand” son.

We are so very sorry for the loss of Syl. My husband and I both worked with Syl for many years at Alcatel. I was very fortunate to have been able to work with Syl again for the past year at Freedom. Syl was always so kind and could always make us laugh with his wonderful sense of humor. Work will not be the same without him and he will be greatly missed. We will be praying for all of Syl’s family and friends.
