Mathis Family and Cousin Ruby -One of my favorite times as a kid was when I could come over to the house and spend time with you all and get loved on by my Cousin Ruby-Devoted mother & wife, active Christian and had a warm presence that soothed our souls and she always had a wise word to give. Her infectiously laugh and loving smile will be deeply missed.

The fund memories we had was our time spent at East Cotton Church of Christ Longview, Texas in the 80’s where we met the Mathis Family. We became True Friends. We moved away but kept in touch. We always had great conversations with Ruby and James over the years. My Wife Debra and Ruby had a great connection. Our condolences to the family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Jimmie and Debra Isaac and family.
Ruby was such a sweet and delightful lady and wife to my cousin James. Jennifer was my little angel growing up. She will be miss. Gone but never forgotten. 🙏🏾💖🙏🏾
Sis. Mathis was a dear friend to Charles and I. Our friendship began in 1992 until her passing. Through the years she offered wisdom, advice, love, many cherished memories and laughs. She loved our son, Baby Charles and was so protective over him. I will miss her warm smile and teasing Charles whenever she had a chance. I will miss you but I know you are resting in Jesus!!
