Mary Charlotte, Isabel, Bobby, Ben, and Mary Michael,
One of the highlights of my life was getting to know Bob as a friend, coworker, and mentor to many of us over many years. Bob gave of himself completely and generously to any cause or program in which he was involved. He will be greatly missed.

My name is Wray Boyd, and I met Bob Sweat at the Tennis Courts when I was Coaching; his son was on my Tennis Team. Bob would come out occasionally to play Tennis himself and was always very friendly and complementary of my coaching. I always was glad to see Bob at the Tennis Courts. He was a great friend supportive of his family and i know he will be missed. I am sorry we will be at another funeral in another town at this time so i will not be able to pay my personal respects.
What a wonderful soul! Rest in Peace my friend. - Diane Davis
Bob was an incredible man and I am blessed that he was a friend of mine. In fact, when I count my blessings in life, I count Bob's friendship twice. We worked closely on many community projects including the Greater Longview United Way and the Longview Symphony. Bob had incredible energy and leadership skills. I will miss my friend.

Bob Sweat was one of the nicest men I have ever had the pleasure of being around while I worked at Texas Eastman Company. Although he was always very busy he would always acknowledge me by saying hello when I passed him in the hallway of his building as I was returning to mine. On the occasions that I saw him socially he was always the same friendly person. There was no put on about Bob Sweat. My thoughts are with his family at this time.
