My family has known the Parks Family for as long as I remember, Mr. Parks and my Dad worked together at the airport and their names were often heard around our dinner table. Robert served as a pall bearer for my brother Kent kimbrough in 1976. And throughout the next few decades I would run into him and we always had cool conversations. He always was kind and a pleasure to talk to. I feel that he will be missed by many. (HLS) We loved him ‘down to the ground ‘ and never saw him without a smile on his face ,he was fearless on a back wheel, and had no enemies , and lived life to the fullest.

Robert was the coolest person I've ever known. Robert was always such a gentleman. I had BIG love for Robert. He passing has left me quite humble. I regret not having the opportunity to see him one last time. He will be missed.
