Gina and family, After moving back to Texas after all these years I decided to look up my old friend John and give him a call.. This is what I find. Iam deeply saddened with your loss. I now will reflect on my memories of John from our days in the Phillipines. It was great times and he was a true friend. He will be missed by many.

I still hold those lessons close to me 18 years later. The memories I have of him are impressive. He was larger than life to me and he still is. One day we will meet again to share stories and laughs.

I've known John since we met at Medical Fundamentals in Wichita Falls shortly after he graduated Basic Training, and then on to orthotics training back in 1974/75. We met up again at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center where it all began right before he retired, and several times at TAOP state meetings. I know John was VERY proud of his boys, Michael and Jason, as well as Jennilee. I also know that he loved YOU dearly, Gina. I know he also knows my Lord Jesus, and whenever we meet up again in heaven we'll have lots of "war stories" to catch up with. My prayers are with you all during this time of grief.
