Melanie was my youngest cousin. As she was growing up I moved to California, so we really lost contact. I'm so thankful that Melanie and I were reunited in the summer of 2008 when I was visiting her older sister Peggy in Longview, TX. She had of course grown up and had become a loving wife and mother. I will miss her. My love and sympathy go out to her family and love ones.

I cannot begin to tell you how much of a surprise it was to hear of your mother's passing. She was a wonderful lady, and we always looked forward to seeing her at school.
