"May the peace which comes from the memories of love shared, comfort you now and in the days ahead."
Dear Sue,
Dona and I would like to express our deepest sympathy to you and your family for the loss of your mother. We all grew up together in Brookwood, and I always remember what great parents you had, and how very proud they were of you.

Aunt Sue, Kelly, Stacy, Kelsey, and Richard,
I loved Mrs Melton. She was such a lovely lady with a heart of gold and it was always a joy to see her at family events. She loved each of you so very dearly, it was so clear to see. May beloved memories of her bring comfort in the midst of your grief.
Love you dearly,
Noell
Dear Sue,
I didn't know your mom, but I know that she was beloved by everyone she knew. I especially like that fact that Dick is mentioned in the obituary as part of her family who preceded her in death, a very thoughtful addition that I don't remember seeing before. I am looking froward to being with you at the reunion and am thinking of you during this time of great loss for you and your family.
With love,
Falvey
Hello, Sue,
My sister, Bettye Works, called me this morning to let me now that your mother had passed away. She knew that your Mother was a Very Special Person to me: Those Sunday mornings that I would attend Sunday School at First Baptist Church with my Mother I could always count on a hug and a peck on the cheek, and a great big smile from your Mother. If it happened to be a Sunday that she wasn't there, somehow my day was just not complete.
Also, your Mother and my Mother were friends for many years. I know my mother very much enjoyed your Mother's friendship. They are probably already "shakin" things up
I know you will very much miss her but we know that she is in I a better place with your Dad and their many, many friends. God Bless!
Love and Hugs,
Randy King
