I remember Mrs. Hood most for her Good News Club. I don't remember how many years I went but it was several. Most of the time the attendance was my sister Judy, Dennis O'Quinn and me.
Now that I am older, I realize the time she spent for preparation and study was quite substantial and I will always appreciate her for that. She was a good role model for me and provided positive reinforcement for my Christian life.

We owe a debt of gratitude to this special lady, and her late husband Bruce. When our son Joe moved nearly 1500 miles from home, they took him under their wing and loved him.
We are looking forward to meeting them both again in heaven, for this is not the end it it just the beginning of eternal life for them.
This thought comforts us, we hope it will comfort all those who loved Kathleen too.
