Katie was a member of the Longview Story League for a few years. She always liked to tell in September and "get it over with." Her stories were well chosen and well told. She was always fun. Once she called me while I was still working in our church and invited me to take lunch to Kenny Stuber who was suffering from chemo for cancer. Katie said to me, "I bet you've got a giggle in your pocket?" She had made her homemade soup and had enough for an army. It was delicious, and Kenny ate most of her. Katie was pleased with that.
We lived across street 1507 Miami from
Mrs Williams. Enjoyed. Visiting with her at times!
