John Theodore "Ted" DeLorme John Theodore "Ted" DeLorme, owner/operator of two East Texas nursing homes, died Tuesday at his home in Diana. He was 65. Visitation will be held Thursday October 14 from 9 -11 a.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. at Read Obituary
I went to San Marcos with Ted. He was two years older than me. My hero. A leader of men boys then. But Ted had a restless, dark, inner demon that few knew was there. . I am happy to see from his life story that he apparently beat that demon. God Bless him.

Jan, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. We prayed and prayed that he would get well so he could remain on this earth, but God had a different plan. John is now in the arms of God and no longer feeling any pain or discomfort. In time, God will ease your thoughts and heart and will leave you with all the wonderful memories of your times together and open your heart so you can begin life with a renewed sense of well being.
