James Royce Whatley, 78, of Longview died Sunday morning at Good Shepherd Medical Center, Services will be held at Two O'clock pm on Wednesday, May 18, 2005 with Reverend Kevin Whittmayer and Reverend Michael C.Macy officiating. I Read Obituary
Jim and I were in the cattle,ranching, and hay baling business for over 30 years,never a cross word between us. He was a joy to work with.
although i never met my great grand uncle my grandmother(his sister's daughter) only ever had wonderful thing to say about him and his wife Elizabeth. she told me stories of their travels and the college he founded and i know he will be missed dearly although this is very late he died the year i was born and my grandma was just telling me about him and he seemed like a very enjoyable man.
