and Scott robbins and I roomed together at MiAmigo apts. in austin
along time ago,I just heard about your loss today, and I am so very sorry. I hadnt spoken to jimmy in years and then one day he called out of the blue and we talked for hours just like we did in college.

I'm deeply saddened to hear of Jimmy's death. Jimmy had a sense of caring, gentle spirit, and sweetness that was rare for a high school soph. He was strong enough to voice his opinions on any subject even against opposition. He was charming. I was always late for our dates. Poor Jimmy had to talk politics with my protective dad, while blushing each time my mom would tell him how handsome he was! He was a gifted actor. He'd casually mention play practice. The next thing I knew, we were all giving him a standing ovation! Jimmy's greatest gift was his sharply dry sense of humor. He aimed it at everyone, including himself. I talked with Jimmy 2 years ago. He was as funny and optomistic as ever. He dearly loved his family and proudly boasted about each family member. Dear Judy and family, Even though I haven't seen you or Jimmy in so many years, I remember your smiles and laughter during our high school years. He and his friends always seemed to have inside jokes they shared that were lost to the rest of us. I remember Jimmy being kind to everyone in class, not just his close friends. I lost my brother in 2000, so I have an insight to the depth of your pain.
