It is a great loss when we lose a family member, but we can be thankful knowing they are resting peacefully with Jesus now, and no longer suffer here on earth. Dear Mike and Betsy, I only knew your Mother for a little more than three years but I came to love her and admire her. I was especially touched by the story of her returning into the New London School to rescue her friend, Dorothy Box, upon hearing her cries for help. That reinforced my opinion of her as a strong, courageous woman of unreproachable character. I loved to go over to her home with Betsy and watch T.V. or grill outdoors and enjoy her fellowship.
