Your mom was such a sweet, thoughtful and very soft spoken person. She always appeared to be delighted when the neighborhood kids would visit, of course she knew that we were probably peddling band goods which she always purchased. She did always take the time to show the young ladies the latest colors of Mary Kay lipsticks. I know you will miss her greatly, but you know that she is shining down from above thrilled to be with God.

I am not sure if you even remember me, but I was in a choir class of yours one year at Hallsville High School.
I now live and work in Houston Texas, but my family are still in the Hallsville/Longview area and I always try to keep up with the Longview Newspaper because I am now the age that me and my friends could lose our loved ones at any given moment and I like to be able to give my sympathy.
I was very sorry to hear about your loss. I can most definitely feel your pain, because I lost my dad 3 years ago this month.
I will keep you and your family in my prayers, that the Lord will help you through this hard time.
I like to just think of it as the Lord just needed another special angel!!!! :
