Respectfully and understandably a lot has been said about Dora as a mother. It should
be noted of her efforts she displayed as a daughter and as sister. Her actions always
took time to mend life's difficulties with her siblings. Her high level of family values under
sometimes strenuous times should be and will be one of her legacies to us all.
I am the man, husband and father I am today because of Dora. While keeping her family secured, she never faltered in recognizing the wants, needs and comfort for her
mother's wellbeing. She rallied all her resources and directed her own family members to
come to the aid of our mother when difficulties arose. Dora was a beacon of strength,
integrity and family pride. I'm sure our mother would be eternally grateful for having a
daughter like Dora.
My wife Jan would like to mention the following, as a sister-in-law she was always so
kind and gracious to me and welcomed me into family. I will miss her dearly but know
she will now be with her past family members and dear friends awaiting to meet her.
Praise the good Lord for giving all of us 92 years of love and inspiration. As this
Memorial Day weekend approaches Jan and I will remember Dora as a strong mentor with regards to family ties. Our heartfelt sympathy to all her beloved family and friends.
Ruben, Jan, Jonathan and Brandi Montana.
A life measured in memories. Until we meet again. Rest in peace.
