We were very privileged to know Bracy for several years.
He was a dear friend and pastor. We were acquainted with his father, Bracy Greer when we lived in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area.
Bracy had a wondrful heritage in his father and mother.##imported-begin##Rev. & Mrs. Glenn Wilcox##imported-end##

Dear Ruth, Angela & Andrea,
Just wanted to pass on to you our sypmathies and let you know we will continue to pray for you as we have been during this difficult time in your lives. I could not tell you how many times I have given my testimony and talked about Bracy being on of the three most influential men in my life. He was there for me during that time in my life when dad was gone. He was wise and bold enough to look me in the eye and say "son, you need to get right!" I will never forget all those trips to Kilgore and the times spent in your home. That was a major turning point in my life, 14 years ago. Today I sit and write this letter from Penang Malaysia, working in a boarding school for Missionary kids. That's a long way from Kilgore! God is so faithful and never stops or gives up on us. He always knows who and what we need at each moment or our lives. I know He is the same God today and will give you everything you need.
Love, Keith##imported-begin##Keith Henderson##imported-end##
Bracy has entered the FULLNESS of the Presence of the Lord that He had spoken of many times. His going ahead of us has left a void that must and will be filled with the Hope that soon we will all be reunited in the Glories of that Day without end. Our prayers and thoughts
are with family, friends, and those of Grace Fellowship.

Dearest Ruth,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family on this Thanksgiving day, trusting that even in your loss you are still clinging to that eternal hope Christ gives us. And even through your tears, heartache and empty arms you know true joy.
I thank you and Bracy for the loving yet firm leadership you gave us in Wiesbaden, and that mustached smile will certainly be missed by all who knew him. I wish that I had contacted you guys last month when I found e-mail addresses for Nick, Genelle and Al Perna. Al was gracious to share with me many from our time at ETC. I'll forever associate the ward "barter" with Bracy's stories of your shopping expeditions in Africia, and still think he and my cousin Sydney Watson pastor Deer Park, TX AOGcould have passed for brothers.
Christ's Love,
Rita ##imported-begin##Rita King Ramsey##imported-end##
Dear Greer Family: Thanks for the many years of being blessed by you all. Each of you in the family hold a special place in our hearts. It is all due to your Dad, Father, Husband and our friend Bracy.
We will miss his great laugh, warm hugs, and deep devotion to the Lord of harvest, the Saviour and King whom Bracy served with all his devotional heart and life.
We Could spend days replaying the many times of searching the Word for definitions, laughter at public and private meetings and times of prayer and worship together.
Thanks for the walk of faith Bracy. Thanks for the hunger for God. Thanks for the many examples of a man searching and finding his "true North" in Christ Jesus. We love you and will deeply miss you.
Peace and prayers for the family. Irvin and Linda

Bracy was a principal force in the rededication of my life, having dropped by my house on February 25, 1965 as a part of the visitation program of Evangel Temple Assembly Of God Church in Dallas, Texas. From the altar call I answered the following Sunday morning, my life would never be the same. I followed his life and ministry from that day forward, including the near exit from ministry in Springfield, Missouri, to San Antonio, Texas, to Houston, Texas, to Tanzania, to Kilgore, Texas, then finally to Longview, Texas with a few brief stops in between. Bracy also officiated at the wedding of my daughter almost 15 years ago and there are many other memories I could mention. I think the most stirring thing I shall always remember about Bracy is the song he occasionally sang at Evangel Temple on occasion of his visit. The obscure hymn, "When I Get Up To Heaven", which was number 280 in the AG hymn book so prevalent in the mid 1960s was the most stirring Christian song I believe I ever heard - at least when Bracy sang it. Most especially, the 3rd verse tells the story of how he felt about his dad, Bracy I. Greer. There was never a dry eye in the building when Bracy sang that one.
I can just see Bracy as he cast his crown at the feet of our Lord and fell before the throne as I heard him describe on prior occasions. Also, the reuniting with his mom and dad must have been some spectacle. Our precious Lord is just a little more wealthy with this great servant of His now in His presence. What a joy it will be for me to join Bracy and all the other friends and family who are sharing space around the great throne.
I never have and never expect to have such love for a man this side of heaven.
God bless and keep all the members of Bracy's family and comfort your hearts with the knowledge that Bracy is in His magnificent presence.##imported-begin##Gus Beckham##imported-end##
I love you Ruthie, Angela, Kayli, Mike & Andrea, Joshua, Adam, Brianna and Andrew. I'm so sorry I couldn't stay for the memorial, but it was great being with you this past week. I'm hoping we will all see each other again real soon. Bracy fought a good fight and is home now in the presence of the Lord, we will all be reunited soon.
