I am so sorry about your loss of your mother. Joyce was one of the gracious doctors wives I met when we moved to Longview. Until Covid stopped them I always enjoyed our lunches together. I know you will miss her deeply

The very well written Obituary for Mrs. Payton gave me a glimpse of the blessed life she lived and the unselfish generosity of time she spent in serving others. I regret I did not have an opportunity to get to know her; however, the intelligent and talented daughters and grandchildren I was blessed to know are a positive reflection of her influence. I am sure she was very proud of her beautiful family and that you all were proud of her. May you experience peace and joy in the days ahead as you share wonderful memories of happy times together. I will continue to pray for comfort and blessings for each one.

Mrs. Payton was a very special lady. We met over 50 years ago and she became my good friend. We had many wonderful visits when she would shop in Albertsons where I worked. She was very kind hearted and always brought a smile to my face. I'm so thankful for our short visit in June before I retired.and I will always cherish our last hug.
I am so sorry for the loss of this wonderful lady. I was so blessed to have known her. It was always a pleasure to assist Mrs. Payton and her family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you and I appreciate your sweet friendship so much.
Sending you my love,
Ruth Kay
