Annie Maxine Davis was born June 27, 1931 and left this earth at the age of 91 on July 13, 2022. She is now rejoicing because she is with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, free from the bonds of her earthly body. Second only to J Read Obituary
Being a neighbor to Al and Maxine for many years was a special joy. She set the highest example of Christian deportment. When I read that Maxine had gone to be with her beloved Lord and Savior, I was reminded of Galatians 5:22-23 where Paul describes love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control as "Fruit of the Spirit." Day by day I observed Maxine purposely bearing spiritual fruit through, in part, the care and thoughtfulness she gave to her family and friends. She was a precious blessing to my family, and we honor Maxine's amazing spiritual legacy! We offer sincere condolences, love, and prayers of comfort to all the Davis family. James and Martha Hunt

when there was a need, Maxine was at my door with still warm cookies or fresh picked vegetables from her garden. She had a servant's heart. Maxine was an inspiration in my life and her memory will still inspire me to love others, and to love the Lord that placed her in my life. Winona Williams

Maxine was a long-time friend. When I retired in 2005, she called and insisted I join her and others for the Good Shepherd Classically Fit classes, so I did. She could reach behind her back, one arm over her shoulder & the other reaching up from the bottom and touch her hands together! I could never do that. I have thought of her often during her illness.
